For years now, mothers have sent their children off to school with their lunch packed securely in plastic bags. Resealable bags have been used to sort through, organize and store the children’s small toy items, the handyman’s supplies in the garage and the kid’s craft materials. In the kitchen they are used to store leftovers in the refrigerator and to freeze items in the freezer. Their ease of use, the ability to see at a glance what is stored inside, and the fact that they can fit into the most odd spaces have made them almost irreplaceable.

Resealable plastic bags are great for keeping products safe. Many products can be damaged from water spills or from having something spilled on them, which is why being able to fully seal the bag that an item is in has meant that products are no longer in danger of damage from water or moisture during transit, while in the shop and immediately after they have been sold.

They are also great for keeping items together. For example, if you sell a piece of furniture or kitchen items, or anything that comes in an un-assembled format, the small parts such as screws etc. can be kept together in one small bag. That way they do not get lost, and they are all in place for when it is time to assemble the items. As the bag is made of plastic, it is very easy to tape it to the box, or a larger part of the item so that it is easy to find.

Finally, the bags are reusable. When you buy something that comes packaged in a resealable plastic bag you are actually getting something useful, besides the item that you are buying. Reusing these bags again and again also helps in that there are less plastic bags and packaging littering the environment.
